Spring has finally taken hold in NYC!

Working on upgrades and tweaks at Flow NY this month. Just got a new Mac G5 which is amazing, and I've been doing a lot of pushing the tech/creative envelope. Also bought a new Presonus Eureka mic pre that I'm really digging...makes tracks come to life.

Sara Lynne Harper came up to write with me from Nashville. She's a young cutting- edge songwriter who is a big fan of Patti Griffin. She really has a way with words, and we wrote and recorded three basics for her upcoming LP. You will be hearing more from her.

Spent several days recording tracks for Virginia's wildbunch The Boucan Bros. Bubba B. came to town for some late night vocal recklessness, and between the Buds and Jim Beam we cut three tunes. Check out their site and hear some of the tracks. Props to Eric Klaastad and Rich Campbell who helped keep it real and rockin'.

Harvard hip-hop reduxers The WPP are still kickin it. The tracks I recorded at Loho are getting some praise around the industry, but they are still unsigned. We are currently working on a couple of new tunes and will be in the studio again in June. Check out their site the for the new mixes and show dates!

Just posted tracks of Cilla. She comes from Brasil via Guadeloupe and just graduated from Sarah Lawrence. The few who have heard the songs say her style is somewhere between Dido and Sade. I think she's a remarkable talent. Check it out for yourself and email me. Props go out to Eric Klaastad, Robert Aaron, and DJ Covex for bringing my tracks to life.

Also recorded a junior genius: Reni J from VA. 16 years old and wise beyond her years. I helped her co-write a few tunes and she is on her way. Spent a few late nights mixing ultrababe turned rockstar Cash Casia's tracks for her new EP which you can now buy at Tower.

Still digging in with The Berman Bros. Co-writing for their new major label act and keeping up on the late-night club music research. Look out for their new tracks with Ben Jelen and Sophie B. Hawkins.
