Spring has sprung...

Flow NY has been on fire for the last two months. I have had no time for the news blog... so finally here's the scoop.

Cilla and I have had the pleasure of collaborating with two hot new producers. Danny P (Joss Stone) and the Junius Bervine (Jill Scott, Floetry, Anthony Hamilton). The new tracks are amazing. With Junius and guitar genius Clay Sears we co-wrote a supergroovy tune called Easy2Love and its infectious. With Danny P we wrote a track called Black & White in Cilla's trademark classic yet edgy style. Cilla has also been singing on a couple of Danny P tracks for Europe. Both Danny and Junius are looking forward to furture collaborations with her.

I just finsihed mixing a track for indy darlings The Secret Machines. My good friend David Poe produced a big event for them with Artists Den at the Apple Store Soho and he asked me to mix the song Nowhere Again for the video. Keep a look out..the song may be released as the next iPod comnmercial!

Former Deuce Project frontman Josh MacMillan has been hanging with me. I am mixing his first full length solo record that he produced on his own. Its typical Josh, and the songwriting shows leaps and bounds since his days with Deuce. Maybe Maverick will suprise us all and pick it up. What a voice....he will be touring soon, so stay posted.

Also visiting Flow NY in April was Reni J. Reni just turned 17 and we celebrated with cosmos at KOS...oops. Sorry Kevin... Anyway we wrote this amazing new song called Drowning In You and finished up her trademark song Who I Am. She has come a long way and is now playing live shows in Norfolk. She's already been asked to play the prestigious concert venue The Norva. She will be back up in NYC over the summer to play at the Living Room for a few shows.

Lots of hip-hop coming through the doors thanks to the peeps at SWAP management. The Dolla Boyz cut a ton of stuff this month. Slamming...Word to Smoke and Numbers. I love those guys.

check out my site on myspace. c'mon and be my friend...:)
